About Jennifer Harlow
Legal guidance shaped by family and real-life decisions.
Jennifer Harlow helps Greater Cincinnati families plan ahead, understand their choices, and move through probate and estate responsibilities with a steadier path forward.

Why this work became personal
Jennifer’s commitment to estate planning was shaped by a serious illness in her own family. Without legal documents in place, difficult decisions became harder and the family had to rely on conversations rather than clear written authority.
The experience reinforced a principle Jennifer now discusses with clients: a family may understand someone’s wishes, but a hard situation becomes harder when no one has the documents or authority needed to act.
That is why her work is not limited to preparing forms. She helps clients consider the choices, people, assets, and conversations that can make a plan useful in real life.
Complete planning, explained clearly
Jennifer walks clients through the legal documents that may fit, the way assets are expected to transfer, and the practical details that can create friction when they are overlooked.
- Start with the family, property, and decisions the plan needs to address.
- Understand the available legal choices before deciding what fits.
- Consider who should have authority to act if help is needed.
- Review how assets are owned, designated, and expected to transfer.
- Make room for concerns about responsibility, fairness, independence, and relationships.
My job is to give you the choices so that you can make the decisions that you need to make in a responsible way.
A family-centered perspective
Planning rarely happens in a vacuum. Clients may be balancing children, aging parents, work, property, retirement, and family relationships at the same time.
Jennifer’s aim is to meet people where they are, listen for the concern behind the legal question, and help them move from uncertainty toward a responsible plan.
Bring the questions you have—even if you are not sure where to begin.
A consultation can help you identify the decisions in front of you and the legal options worth considering.
